Payment Issues


Unfortunately, Stripe is a third-party payment vendor, so we have limited visibility into failed payments. Having said that, we do have a few options you can try that have worked for others.

1. You can try another credit card.


2. You can try deleting the card from the payment page and re-entering it as a new card/payment method. You can try this for each credit card that might be in your saved payment drop-down.


​3. Please call the bank account or credit card company that is associated with your Stripe account. Many times it’s the credit card or bank that has flagged that payment activity as suspicious. Letting them know that this Stripe account is a legitimate vendor is important to ensure that this won’t get flagged in the future.


​Additional Notes: 

​If neither of those works, we have found that if contractors try again a day or two later, Stripe sometimes accepts the payment.

​Sometimes your account may have been logged out due to some timeout.
