You cannot take advantage of the truly off-grid functions of the Sol Ark inverters but it can be used to permit partial home backups.
Generators must be permitted directly through your AHJ Separately from SolarAPP+.
Also, the 5k-1P is only a single phase 120 inverter you will need a 240 inverter for this platform.
