How do we address UL 9540A listed ESS equipment in SolarAPP+?

Any contractor must get pre-approval from the AHJ that theAHJ will accept less than 3 ft of separation. The AHJ could approve reducedspacing for equipment under UL 9540A, based on the manufacturer’s instructionsdemonstrating compliance with a UL 9540A Report. T. The contractor must then attest thatthey got approval to use the specific equipment associated with the UL 9540Areport. 

The inspection checklist will then ask the inspector toverify ESS has been installed per manufacturer’s instructions and the UL 9540AReport as applicable. An example of how this is shown on the inspectionchecklist is shown below.
