Can contractors install batteries in a location with unfinished wood framing?

Installations on unfinished wood framing are permissible inSolarAPP+.  When installations are within the dwelling unit, thecontractor must comply with the construction requirements of IRC R328.4: Wallsand ceilings of unfinished wood-framed construction shall be provided with notless than 5/8 inch Type X gypsum wallboard. ESS installed within attachedgarages shall comply with IRC R302. Adherence to these requirements of the codemust be verified at time of inspection by the inspector as detailed by the inspectionchecklist.
