What fire rating requirements do you enforce for batteries?

There is no fire rating requirement in the residentialbuilding code, this is in the commercial building code. The residential coderequires fire resistant construction, per Table 302.6 for attached garages (seebelow). We also have specific construction requirements when ESS is installedon unfinished framing where walls and ceilings of unfinished wood-framedconstruction shall be provided with not less than 5/8 inch Type X gypsumwallboard, which equates to a 30 min fire rating.
