How to upload a new or renewed jurisdiction business license to your SolarAPP+ account
Once you have an active account that includes your uploaded and approved contractor license, the next step to begin submissions is to upload the local business licenses of the jurisdictions in which you wish to work.
Below, you'll find a guide on how to upload those licenses within your SolarAPP+ account:
First, when you're within your SolarAPP+ portal, click Jurisdictions at the top of the page, as shown below.
This will take you to a Manage Your Jurisdictions tab, where you may search for the city or county jurisdiction for which you want to add a license.
On the right-hand side, under "local license," click +Add City License to upload the license for that jurisdiction.
*For those who don’t require a business license, please email us at the email below to request that we enable you for that jurisdiction.
Once uploaded, the SolarAPP team will be automatically notified, review the license, and reach out with confirmation details. Approval and update typically take 2-3 business days.
What happens if the jurisdiction doesn't require a business license? Please reach out to our team at [email protected] and we'll be happy to review the jurisdiction's requirements and if no license is necessary, manually approve the jurisdiction for your SolarAPP+ account.
