Does SolarAPP+ provide funding assistance or manage the integration into our existing online software?

SolarAPP is free for communities to voluntarily adopt. Piloting communities have so far required from 10 to 53 hours, depending on the software vendor, to integrate SolarAPP+ into their permitting workflows. SolarAPP+ is not covering these costs, but we are developing software related templates with government software vendors to enable more efficient adoption. SolarAPP does not reduce or otherwise affect permit fees collected by the AHJ. SolarAPP is developing direct communication pathways through APIs that would be maintained in collaboration with government software vendors for their supported software platforms.
